One member of a comic book fan community that proudly bills itself as feminist says that it's unlikely for a such a feminist character to be familiar with rape tropes, and she's likely pulling the leg of . Others in the comm back her up.
Personally, I'd just figure that while flying around and saving the world, the character hasn't heard about tentacle porn. And why would a feminist specifically need to know Everything About Rape? Do you confiscate their card if they can't pass a pop quiz or something? Deduct some Feminist Points so they can't level up? A lot of people don't like to talk about, learn about, or think about what is really a horrible, horrible subject.
