Last night, I had to go to Church and miss Avatar: The last Airbender. I, naturally, set my family's DVD/VCR player to record that episode. 8:25 PM to 9:05 PM, Friday November 16th 2007. Having had previous attempts gang aft agley before, I double-checked the time, the date, the channel, the system time and the system date. Everything was perfect.

Except, as I found later, that at the time the program came on, the VCR thought it was 8:30 AM.

I wish the Bahamas got TiVo.
