Thanks for making iPlayer automatically resume where I left off when I accidentally close the relevant tab because I think I have the Firefox window active instead of Chrome.

Dear Jonn,

You're welcome. We're sorry iPlayer is a bit shit and sometimes just forgets where you are and that the desktop app is a monstrosity.

We're trying really hard. Honest.

Look, I just want to be able to use the iPlayer at all, instead of being discriminated against for the crime of not living in the UK. BBC, I want to give you my money so I can watch Doctor Who episodes a week ahead of the rest of my country legitimately

Is this so wrong?

It has to do with international licensing laws, unfortunately. Thankfully, I'll be back here before the second half of Series 6. All I have to do is spend a day or so travelling, and endure British food, British water faucets*, and British teeth.

*Why would anyone need two taps? It wastes both water and valuable tap-making materials!

So I've heard, yes. Unfortunate, but apparently this may change soon...ish?
