The idea for the second and third scans was "Electropunk" China. I had all these ideas about induced magnetic currents; you put the "plug" on the "plate", and it sticks to it by magnet. The plate has a field around it, and said field interacts with the plug to sent a current though it. No exposed, live wires at any point.

Except instead of "China", I just ended up with cooler-looking versions of regular stuff. In the first scan, a computer. In the second, speakers, radios, lightbulbs and audio systems. Sorry I had to screw around with the levels to make it legible. I have some more scans of this setting somewhere.
