Please learn the difference between JPGs and PNGs, and when it is appropriate to use each one. Special attention should be paid to the distinction between PNG-8 and PNG-24. At maximum quality, the difference is nearly impossible to detect, so there's no reason a 233x338 image macro cropped from a Penny Arcade comic needs to be a 150KB PNG when even at maximum JPEG size it's less than 50KB.
