For those of you unfamiliar with the novel, imagine a Lovecraft story, except the protagonist is a loser who works at a video store. And he looks like this;

I would also like to confess that my sole experience with the works of HP Lovecraft comes from reading webcomics that are compared to Lovecraft. And that one comic Mike Mignola did. Same with DnD.
