Right, so Harry met a Dementor and had a flashback, like he canonically does in year 3. He uses his powers of Rationality to make some surprisingly insightful deductions, which go way, way off when he reasons that the prophecy was heard by McGonagall, who told it to Dumbledore, who arranged for Snape to hear it so he could tell Voldemort and be Voldy would be lured to his death.
Nice to know he's not omnipotent.
