_{*There are a total of three plotlines(which is apparently "too much" for some reviewers) with the overarching theme of "legacy"; Tony's self-destruction, Vanko's and Hammer's attempts to destroy him, and DURR HURRVENGERS. That third one is the closest to being superfluous, but it helps if you think of it as setting up for the third movie. Or The Avengers. Which, in case you hadn't heard, is being helmed by Joss Whedon.}
