Starcraft 2 will not have LAN play

Talking with IncGamers, Blizzard's VP of game design Frank Pearce has revealed that the only way to play Starcraft II in multiplayer will be through the company's Battle.net service online.

Rumors that Blizzard has "lost their fool minds" are currently unconfirmed.
