Tiger Woods mans the frak up
Feb. 19th, 2010 11:23 amTiger Woods 'deeply sorry for irresponsible and selfish behaviour'
Allow me to summarize;
Even if he wasn't sincere, which I doubt, this was a ballsy move. I also like the fact that he pre-empted a good portion of The View, which also means they have to wait until Monday to "comment" on the speech. I imagine they're squatting in their eyries somewhere, plotting, cackling as they plan their gripping and relevant social commentary.
Allow me to summarize;
- I did wrong.
- I apologize to my wife, my family, and all the parents who held me up as role models.
- What's going on between me and my wife is none of your business. Leave my family alone.
- No, really, leave them alone.
- I am still going through treatment.
- I'm returning to my lapsed faith as a Buddhist.
- [Hugs and man-hugs.]
