According to the law-type lady Mum babysits for, Wal-Mart is accountable under a "but for clause", which seems to have something to do with causation; if they hadn't opened late, then the public wouldn't have been worked into such a frenzy that they killed a man and injured a dozen more.
I mean, seriously. Wal-Mart is partially at fault, but what about the people who trampled a guy to death for the love of DEALS DEALS DEALS? It's hard to trample someone by accident, much less a 270 lb. dreadlocked black guy. I also like how it took the family about a week to decide to sue.
Just disgusted with everyone right now. Jeez.
