I added an item to the Troper Tales:Completely Missing the Point about the complaints about Sonic Unleashed. Specifically; fans of the series complaining that they just wanted Sonic gameplay, Sega giving it to them by having Sonic transform into what was effectively an entirely different character half the game, and people being unable to understand why the fans were still complaining.

You deleted it.

I tried to revise it, to make it more funny.

* The Werehog in Sonic Unleashed is Sonic InNameOnly, and I think people who are complaining about the [[strike:hatedom]] fanbase complaining about Sega [[LiteralGenie listening to the spirit]] of the fans' cries to "only play as Sonic" are completely missing the point of the original complaints. It'd be if JJ Abrams had somehow decided to make the crew of the Enterprise in [[Film/StarTrek the upcoming StarTrek movie]] a band of galaxy-roving flamenco dancers in a ''fabulous'' spaceship called the Enterprise. (To seek out new life and new dance partners, to boldly Ole! where no man has Ole!'d before.) If fans complained about it, the secondary complainers would be going "It's still StarTrek. There's a spaceship and Spock and everything. Quit your whining."

You deleted the whole item. Okay. Then you added the first bullet point back in with the reason "yeah, not to complain". Then, and this is the mystifying part, you deleted the whole thing. Again. "Gee, over-exagerating much? Complaining About Stuff You Don't Like. Removed."

1. Of course I was exaggerating. It's called a "joke".

2. Funny how my item on Sonic-which was two removes from really complaining about the series itself-got slashed, but the one above about how the filmmakers missed the point of "I Am Legend" is still sitting pretty.

3. The entire point of Troper Tales is to direct subjective matters off the main page.

So congratulations. You failed three ways.
