During the Critical Studies this week, I was on the ball, all over the artwork the teacher projected onscreen. When we broke, one of my classmates asked me if I had taken an art history class before. I said yeah, but I hadn't learned about any of the paintings we had seen in it.

Turns out involuntarily memorizing all sorts of useless trivia does come in handy after all.
