From what I understand, the protesters are claiming the Mosque is insensitive to the families of the people who died in the attack.

Over 3000 people died that Tuesday.

Strangely, few to none of their families have actually shown up and said "this offends us". Apparently the protesters are in contact with them, though, and will continue to relay their offense to us.

If the first reaction of the people who are supposedly on the same side as you to the mention of your name is generally cringing and loudly declaring "I'm not with them!", you're probably not aligned with the opinions of most of the Christian community.

Sincerely,
Jonn

The original version I saw—kinda like this—took place in a featureless, nightmarish, muddy brown hellhole. Basically, New Jersey.

Smut for Smut: Trading Pornography for Bibles (About Atheism blog)

The group ... has raised the ire of several religious organizations on campus. “In my opinion, there are no atheists. There are fools,” Pastor Rick Hawkins of UTSA’s Family Praise Center said. “So, that would be foolish propaganda. I don’t know one believer that would take his Bible and turn it in for pornography.”
As the report notes, several students had in fact exchanged Bible for pornography. There’s something ironically appropriate about Rick Hawkins forming a conclusion about this without bothering to research the matter. Once again, ideology and wishful thinking win out over reality.
I like how the blogger assumes everyone with a bible is a believer. I have my daddy's copy of "Beyond Good And Evil"* in my bookcase, but that doesn't mean either of us agree with Nietzsche.

*The awesome video game, I keep on the desk.

I believe in Satan, an intelligent, malevolent being who wants to bring about the destruction of humanity.

Which is why I spent the first fifteen minutes* of this morning's church service with the word cunting bouncing through my head.

*The sermon had the Lady Gaga informing me, repeatedly, that I couldn't read her Poker Face. Just the song, not the video, or I might not have been able to focus on spiritual matters at all.
